DES MOINES, Iowa – The Indiana State softball team swept its doubleheader against Drake Saturday afternoon at Buel Field. The Sycamores (13-17, 6-5 MVC) held on in game one to beat the Bulldogs for the first time since 2015 by a score of 12-8 before earning an 11-3 run-rule victory in five innings in the nightcap.

Annie Tokarek hit her fourth home run of the year driving in a team-leading three runs. Tokarek is now tied for fourth in the ISU record book with her 14 career home runs.
