TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State men's basketball's Jaden Daughtry was named this week's GoGo Squeez ISU Student-Athlete of the Week as announced by the athletic department on Monday afternoon.
Jaden Daughtry played two games off the bench this week yet led Indiana State in scoring with 22.5 points per game, shooting a team-best 57.7% (15-for-26) from the field and knocking down 15-fof-18 from the free throw line (he entered the week a 61% shooter from the line). He played 23.7 minutes per game between the two contests.
Daughtry finished with a career-high 26 points against Evansville and scored the first eight-of-15 points for the Sycamores, and late in the contest he scored seven consecutive points to ensure the squad remained in striking distance.
