PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. – Indiana State baseball finished a 10-day road swing Sunday with a 3-0 shutout loss at the hands of Chicago State in the finale of the Snowbird Baseball Classic in Port Charlotte, Florida.
Sycamore (2-4) bats tallied just three hits on the afternoon while Chicago State went for seven. Dominic Cusumano tallied two base hits while Brian Fuentes went for a single in the game. Patrick Arndt and Richard Paulino recorded two hits each for the Cougars. Arndt also drove in two runs for CSU.
It was a scoreless game until the fifth inning of action as Paulino led off the inning with a single through the left side.
