AUBURN, Ala. – Senior thrower Ryan Chestnut had a career day in the hammer throw to lead the Sycamores at Day One of the Tiger Track Classic at Auburn on Friday.
Chestnut finished third in the men's hammer, heaving a monster four-meter career-best at 57.71m (189-04). His throw today leaves him just three feet from the fairly strong all-time top-10 in Indiana State history, and also pushes him up to second in the Valley and 47th in the NCAA East Region this season.
It was a light day elsewhere for the Sycamores with a handful of other top finishes on Day One.
