ST. LOUIS -- As final preparations are being made for the 2016 State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Tournament, the Sycamores picked up another important honor from the league office as sophomore Brandon Murphy was named to the MVC Scholar-Athlete Team. This award is voted upon by a postseason vote of the league's sports information directors.
Murphy is a 6-7, 275 center and a native of Montgomery, Ala. It is his first career honor from the league office. He carries a 3.25 grade point average and is majoring in Communications.
