LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Indiana State baseball could not overcome No. 24 Louisville's offensive outbursts Saturday afternoon as the Cardinals clinched the series with a 10-6 victory at Patterson Stadium.
Indiana State (20-19) scored the first run of the game in the third inning when junior CJ Huntley drove in Clay Dungan from second with a single through the right side after Dungan doubled to right field with one out in the inning.
The Cardinals (29-13) answered back quickly with a four-run bottom half of the inning that began with a double to the gap in center off the bat of Ethan Stringer followed by a pair of walks to load the bases.
