TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – and the Sycamore bats propelled Indiana State to an 8-4 home-opener win over the visiting Oakland Golden Grizzlies Friday afternoon at Bob Warn Field.
Bifano, a Carmel, California native, connected on his second home run of the season in the sixth to give the Sycamores their first lead of the day at 3-2 on the two-run blast to right field. Senior outfielder put the icing on the cake in the eighth when he powered out his fourth home run of the year to make it an 8-4 game following several tough defensive plays in left field.
