BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Sycamore Baseball (8-5, 0-0 MVC) picked up an 8-2 win over the Rhode Island Rams (2-8, 0-0 Atlantic 10) in the first game of the Campbell Invitational and Spring Break road swing.
Indiana State struck first in the first inning after Junior Hunter Owen singled with two outs, then senior Kaden Moore hit a RBI double to plate Owen.
The Sycamores were quiet for the next three innings, but finally put up four more runs in the top of the fifth inning to go up 5-0.
