CARBONDALE, Ill. – Indiana State swimming & diving sits in fifth-place after the 400-medley relay team broke the school record on day one of the Missouri Valley Conference Championships on Wednesday at Shea Natatorium.
The Sycamores sit in fifth with 116 points, trailing Missouri State (306), Southern Illinois (177), Illinois State (139) and UNI (122). Behind ISU is Little Rock (95), Evansville (93) and Valparaiso (44).

Madie Rutan, Anna Maria Nasiou, Marni Gray and Kaimi Matsumoto broke the school record with a time of 3:44.
