Young scores 24, but Pacers fall 96-85 against Hawks

Even with Paul George and Myles Turner returning to the lineup, the Indiana Pacers (7-9) fell to the Atlanta Hawks Wednesday night, in a poor performance on the glass.

George looked rusty early on, missing two easy layups under-the-basket, but Thaddeus Young led the way for Indiana in the first quarter scoring 11 points. The Pacers struggled to stop the dominant front-court for the Hawks, as Paul Millsap and Dwight Howard helped Atlanta get off to an early lead in the first quarter.

Howard was unstoppable in the quarter, recording 10 points and seven rebounds --- four offensive boards that lead to eight of his points.
