The game followed a similar script to the loss to the Golden State Warriors: Let the Kings take a large lead before playing mostly even the rest the way but never fully make a comeback.
Cousins’ 48 points were certainly the highlight of the game but Paul George started to get things back on track for himself with 34 points on 9 of 20 shooting. That included going 4 of 8 from beyond the arc and 12 of 14 at the free-throw line and generally looking much more like the All-Star he is.
Jordan Hill had the unfortunate task of trying to stop Cousins (no one could on Saturday) but he posted a double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds.
