Frank Vogel decided the time was now for Myles Turner to get his first start in the NBA and the 19-year-old rookie didn’t disappoint.
Turner started at power forward and shot 9 of 17 for 20 points while grabbing 6 rebounds in the Indiana Pacers’ win over the Atlanta Hawks.
Turner looked comfortable in his first start and played well against the Hawks’ Al Horford and Paul Millsap though Millsap left the game with an ankle injury in the first half. Though this was his first start, in his last seven games he’s averaged 18.
