Myles Turner and Joe Young had a coming out party of sorts as Turner scored 31 points while gathering 8 rebounds, his best night in the NBA so far in his young career. Young impressed with 16 points and 8 assists against a Warriors team that was forced to play most of the 48 minutes to keep the Pacers at bay.
It wasn’t enough to beat the Warriors, but for a team that looked hapless and apathetic at times over the past two months, this was a needed moral victory.
Monta Ellis was the best-looking veteran on the evening for Indiana as he shot 8 of 14 for 18 points.
