Team USA erased any stray doubts about their intention to go for the gold in Rio after running past China, 119-62 in their opening game in Olympic pool play.

After posting the 57-point win, the victors gathered at center court to break it down and then gave the appreciative crowd a wave before hitting the media rounds.

Paul George came in early off the bench and was quite aggressive on the defensive end, a bit too much so at times, picking up a couple of perimeter fouls. PG played over about 18 minutes and finished with 15 points, three assists, three rebounds and a couple of nice dunks.
