Lawson had a short — but exciting — 5 minutes with the Indiana Pacers on Monday before going down with an ankle injury.
While the severity of the injury was unknown at the time and sent fans into panic mode, it appears Lawson will be fine. He took part in practice today, albeit in a limited fashion according to the Indy Star’s Candace Buckner. Lawson didn’t take part in any of the team’s scrimmages, but he did run through offensive sets to get himself acclimated to Indiana’s schemes. He also shot 3-pointers during the practice session as well.
