Fresh off of a six-game Eastern Conference Finals series, where the Toronto Raptors overcame a 2-0 deficit to win four straight and advance to the NBA finals, the Milwaukee Bucks point guard George Hill has a level of uncertainty following him into the summer.
Hill, who just turned 33 last month, is still under contract for $18,000,000, but only $1 million is guaranteed if the Bucks decide to release him by July 1st.
For a team with limited cap space and crucial players hitting the market this summer (Malcolm Brogdon, Brook Lopez, Khris Middleton), it seems it’s almost guaranteed the veteran point guard’s contract will be waived.
