The Pacers are 2-1 in their last three road games, beating Houston and Atlanta and losing to San Antonio in three games that remained up for grabs in the final minute of regulation. In all three games, the Pacers stiffened on the defensive end late and made a strong close for the win.
Against Houston, the Pacers weathered a late 10-2 run by the Rockets to close out Houston with a 7-0 run in the final minute thanks to three defensive stops and some quality free throw shooting by Jeff Teague.
Against the Spurs, the Pacers had to rally from behind late, holding the Spurs scoreless over the final three minutes until Kawhi Leonard went to the Texas four-step to create room for what would be the game-winner.
