The past week for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants was full of storylines: a triple-overtime thriller, a Pacers rookie making his D-League debut, and two other Pacers assignees continuing to put up big numbers.
The wild week began with a Wednesday morning road game at the Delaware 87ers. Mad Ants guard C.J. Fair, who has spent the past two seasons in training camp with the Pacers, knocked down a 3-pointer with 0.4 seconds left to force overtime. The game wound up going to a second overtime period, where Fair once again played the hero, scoring on a layup with 7.
