The Fort Wayne Mad Ants spent their weekend in Maine, playing a back-to-back games against the Red Claws, the D-League affiliate of the Boston Celtics.
In the first game on Friday night, the Red Claws held off the visitors for a 113-101 win. The loss was the Mad Ants' fifth straight, but they did get some strong individual performances.
Point guard John Lucas III, an NBA veteran who signed with Fort Wayne last week, led all scorers with 25 points on 11-of-18 shooting. Former Pacers training camp participant C.J. Fair added 18 points and seven rebounds.
Fair's former Syracuse teammate and Pacers assignee Rakeem Christmas had a very good offensive night despite battling foul trouble.
