The Fort Wayne Mad Ants, the Pacers' D-League affiliate, won two of three games last week to improve to 9-2 on the season, the best record in the Eastern Conference, through Tuesday morning.
Pacers rookie forward Georges Niang joined for the Mad Ants last week for his first D-League assignment and played well, averaging 16.0 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in three games. Niang, a 6-8 forward out of Iowa State, shot 50 percent from the field and 81.8 percent from the foul line during his time in Fort Wayne before being recalled to the Pacers on Monday.
