Currently residing in fifth place in the Central Division, the most competitive division of the NBA’s Developmental League, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants (16-21) recently wrapped up a tough week that saw them drop three of their four games.
The Mad Ants suffered a 123-74 road loss to the Sioux Falls Skyforce on Feb. 23, allowing 40 points in the opening quarter and 38 points in the third. In fact, all eight members of the opposing team who saw action reached double-figures in scoring. Keith Benson scored a team-high 23 points and pulled down 11 rebounds for the Skyforce, and Briante Weber accumulated a triple-double with 11 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists.
