The Fort Wayne Mad Ants, the Pacers' D-League affiliate, only had one game last week, but it sure was a memorable one.
The Erie Bayhawks, Orlando's D-League affiliate, visited Fort Wayne on Thursday afternoon and jumped out to a 64-55 lead at halftime.
The Mad Ants, however, rallied thanks to a superb second-half performance by Ben Bentil, a rookie forward out Providence. Bentil scored all of his game-high 31 points after halftime to lead Fort Wayne to a 132-125 overtime win.
Erie sent the game in OT on Robert Vaden's 3-pointer with 16.8 seconds left in regulation, but the Mad Ants outscored the Bayhawks 7-0 in the extra session.
