Pacers center Domantas Sabonis is a finalist for the Kia NBA Sixth Man Award, the NBA announced on Friday. Sabonis, a 6-11 center, is one of three finalists for the annual award. The other two finalists are both from the Los Angeles Clipper: Montrezl Harrell and Lou Williams.
In his third NBA season and his second in Indiana, Sabonis appeared in 74 games in the 2018-19 season, coming off the bench in 69 of those contests. He averaged 14.1 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game, all career highs.
Sabonis led the Pacers with 30 double-doubles in the regular season, including 27 as a reserve, the highest total for any bench player in the NBA.
