After breaking his leg during a USA Basketball scrimmage in August 2014, a brutal injury that put his career in question and appeared to dash any hopes of playing in the 2016 Olympic Games, PG will now realize the honor of representing his country on going for a gold medal in Rio, according to a report by Marc J. Spears.

Doubts about PG's future lingered up until the start of the 2015-16 NBA season, but from the opening tip, the Pacers star played like an All-Star and maintained that form throughout the season. The hard work in rehab which led to the success on the floor, helped PG's confidence in his health and game continue to build throughout the season.
