Prior to the game on Monday, the Pacers announced that Stuckey would be out 4-6 weeks with a patellar tendon strain in his left knee. The injury created a scenario for the Pacers to release Stuckey prior to the end of the regular season which invokes a rare provision in Stuck’s contract which Zach Lowe mention in this podcast (47 minute mark).
