Report: Pacers sign Georges Niang to three-year deal

After a solid showing during the Orlando Pro Summer League, the Pacers committed to second-round pick (No. 50 overall) Georges Niang, officially announcing the rook's signing on Monday.

Second round picks aren't guaranteed a contract or spot on the team after the draft, but the Pacers will give Niang a shot at making it in the league this season. In Orlando, Niang averaged 10.2 points and 6.2 rebounds per game for the Summer Pacers.

The Pacers didn't divulge details of the deal, but Scott Agness reports the team signed Niang to a three-year deal worth $2.
