According to reports out of Philly, Sixers’ rookie center Joel Embiid will remain home when his teammates travel to Indy to play the Pacers on Wednesday.
The Pacers will try to get better with a home and home against the Sixers starting on Wednesday at the Fieldhouse. With the way the Pacers are playing and the opponent being the 0-6 Sixers, the game is far from appealing and Embiid’s presence would’ve made it quite intriguing.
Embiid, who was drafted in 2014 but has been sidelined by injuries, has been a highlight machine in the first few games for Philly, flashing shooting range and quickness around the rim drawing comparisons to Hakeem Olajuwon.
