Mad Ants coach Steve Gansey was pleased with the way the team responded after back to back losses according to Justin A. Cohn of the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette.
“My theory, my philosophy, is never to lose three in a row,” Mad Ants coach Steve Gansey said. “So I’m really happy with our guys and how they played. Bakersfield is a really tough team. They have a lot of names, are really big and athletic, and they’re well-coached. I’m really happy that our guys took the challenge and we came up with the ‘W.’”
Rakeem Christmas got himself back on track as well as he led the Mad Ants with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 2 blocks.
