INDIANAPOLIS – For the 15th consecutive season the Indiana Pacers will visit over 30 elementary schools and reach over 7,000 K-3rd grade students in Marion and surrounding counties with a program to promote reading among Central Indiana youth. The Pacers will partner with The RoomPlace, a furniture store chain with five stores in Central Indiana, for the effort which includes the "Read Like a Pro" program, which is part of the team's educational initiatives. "Read Like A Pro" encourages children to embrace the love of reading and includes Weekly Reading TimeOuts, an All-Star Reading Team, Read Across America Day and the Summer Reading Tour.
