The Pacers guests and traveling party (including Lil Slick, a bobblehead of the legend, Bobby Slick Leonard) arrived in London Monday morning. There is a strike with the local subway folks so traffic made the trip from the airport to the hotel a bit longer than usual. Hope it gets straightened out by game day (Thursday).
The group toured the Churchill War Rooms (fascinating). This Winston guy and his cigar was a prime-time player back in the day.
After a group dinner, the Pacers guests visited some of London’s famous pubs. WTHR’s Scott Swan (who did a special interview with this guy during the London Olympics) brought by London’s only "singing" taxi driver.
