The Good: The Pacers started strong, scoring 30 points in the first quarter, led by Paul George’s 16. They parlayed that into a 10-point lead at the half. Four minutes into the third quarter, the Pacers had pushed it to a 16-point lead, getting contributions great contributions.
Then, after giving it all away and falling behind by five with less than 7 minutes, the Pacers recovered with big plays from Solomon Hill, Ian Mahinmi, and Monta Ellis.
It wasn’t pretty, but it was a win.
The Bad: The Pacers blew another lead – 16 points this time – and were very much in danger of dropping a pretty big game in the race for the playoffs.
