The Good: For the Pacers, I guess, just the fact that this only counts as one loss. It was their worst loss of the year, as well as lowest offensive output.
The Bad: Optimistically, I wrote this at halftime, thinking the Pacers would make a game of it in final 24 minutes:
The first half was an uneven mess for the Pacers, committing 12 turnovers and getting outscored 14-5 on fastbreak points. A 16-point Hawk run early in the first set the tone for the half and the game.
Then, after the Pacers cut the lead to 8 midway through the third, they allowed the Hawks to outscore them 30-5 over the final 8:07 of the third quarter.
