Myles Turner’s injury turned two possible wins into a pair of nearly guaranteed losses, but the Indiana Pacers nearly beat the Miami Heat after trailing by 21 points.
Things started to get out of hand for Indiana once Domantas “Not a Throw-in” Sabonis picked up his fourth foul in the first half. Sabonis’ 6 points and 5 rebounds up until that point may not sound like much but on a Pacers team missing their starting center, this was a turning point in the game.
What was a modest Pacers lead quickly became a 13-point deficit as the game hit halftime.
