Frank Vogel took over the head coaching job for the Indiana Pacers during Paul George’s rookie season. It is clear the two had a special relationship given the star player’s recent Instagram post:
Team president Larry Bird announced on Thursday that he did not renew Vogel’s contract for the 2016-17 season, which prompted George’s heartfelt message. Vogel finished with a 250-181 record for the Pacers (.
