Paul George Questions Pacers Toughness and Effort After Loss to Blazers

Paul George knows a bit about toughness. He shattered two leg bones then, upon returning with a surgically implanted metal rod in his leg, won the NBA’s player of the month award in his first full month back. He looked better than ever, and while his efficiency and production has tailed off some since, the rehab and anguish that went into him returning to his All-Star form is a testament to his work ethic and grit.

So when he coldly stated last night, after the Indiana Pacers loss to the Portland Trail Blazers, that his team has “no toughness,” it means something.
