George Begins Preliminary Contract Talks

According to Bob Kravitz of WTHR.com, George said that preliminary contract-extension discussions have taken place, but they remain in the early stages.
The 26-year-old forward is set to make an average of over $18.3 million per season over the next three years, per Spotrac.com.
After missing all but six games in 2014-15 due to a gruesome leg injury, George bounced back with a career year in 2015-16, averaging a personal-best 23.
