Pacers Recall Georges Niang to Mad Ants

The Indiana Pacers announced Monday they have recalled forward Georges Niang from their affiliate in the NBA’s Development League, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.

The Pacers drafted Niang, a 6-8 forward out of Iowa State, with the 50th overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft. Niang has appeared in 13 games for the Pacers so far in his rookie season, averaging 0.8 points and 1.0 rebounds per contest. Niang played in three games with the Mad Ants, averaging 16.0 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per contest.
