On Thursday, Malcolm Brogdon and Myles Turner took their turns Zooming with the media while the team’s individual workouts continued during the first week of preseason camp.
Both players touched on the lack of any buzz surrounding the Pacers as they regroup with all of the same key parts to improve on a surprisingly successful season that quickly burst in the bubble after a poor playoff showing.
Myles Turner mentioned being disrespected for his shot blocking prowess before saying the team as a whole is usually disrespected because of being a small market team.
Prior to Turner’s comments, Brogdon effused about the quality depth returning in better shape to improve on last season’s results.
