The Cleveland Cavaliers arrive at the Fieldhouse on Wednesday to play the Pacers after giving a full 48-minute effort on Tuesday to beat the Toronto Raptors, 121-117.
LeBron James played 38 of those 48 minutes, doing his thing down the stretch to hold off a big effort from the Raps to push the Cavs to 9-1 on the season. This after James played 39 minutes on Sunday to help the Cavs beat the Hornets.
So with another tough game on Friday against the Pistons, will the Pacers see the Cavs at full strength. With the bigger picture of the full NBA season and expected long playoff run in view, occasional rest for James, let alone Kevin Love or Kyrie Irving seems like a reasonable plan.
