The Pacers held on to beat the Lakers thanks to Paul George scoring the final 12 points for the team and final eight points overall in the game to deliver the dub, 115-108.
Those eight points turned a one-point deficit with two minutes left into a seven-point win, allowing the Pacers to exhale briefly.
Along with the scoring binge by PG, the Pacers also held the Lakers scoreless on their final five possessions after struggling much of the second half to come together on the defensive end.
Despite the strong defensive finish, which included some highlight help-side D from PG to deny Jordan Clarkson at the rim, Paul George expressed his frustration with the overall inconsistency of the team and in particular at the defensive end.
