The Pacers hopes for hanging with the Warriors on Monday were slim considering the OT win in OKC the night before and a playing rotation missing two starters in Paul George and Myles Turner and a key reserve in C.J. Miles.
Those slim hopes faded to reality after five minutes of play in the first quarter when the Warriors started methodically expanding their lead. Eight points, then 15 and 20 before the half. By the end of the game, the 120-83 final score nearly doubled that first half lead.
The anti-climactic visit from the Warriors quickly changed the conversation to injury news and hopes that at least PG and Turner will return for Atlanta on Wednesday.
