The Pacers were unable to maintain the high level of play they displayed at home without Paul George. C.J. Miles and Kevin Seraphin, when they dropped a road game in Portland on Wednesday, 131-109.
The missing fire power left the Pacers chasing the Blazers all night and it is hard to imagine a fully healthy roster turning that result around. It was certainly tough to stay up in the Eastern time zone to finish watching that one, even if they did make a too late, too little run in the fourth quarter.
The Blazers attacking the rim with Al Jefferson on the court limited the Pacers options and they just didn't have the game to keep up.
