As reported earlier in the week, the Pacers parted ways with Chase Budinger which clears ups a roster spot for Ty Lawson. Also, Frank Vogel indicated C.J. Miles may be able to play against the Wizards on Saturday night.
The Pacers officially waived Chase Budinger, as expected a day after Bud played 11 minutes in the Pacers' loss to Charlotte on Friday night.
The Pacers swung and missed by trading Damjan Rudez for Budinger with the hope that the veteran swingman could improve the reserve unit at both ends of the floor.
