Pacers Links: Pacers use NBA Draft to deal for a new look with veteran players

Before the NBA Draft started on Thursday evening, the Pacers had what they were looking for -- a point guard and power forward.

After dealing away George Hill and the 20th pick in the draft, the Pacers had Jeff Teague and Thaddeus Young, two veteran players ready to slide into the starting lineup.

Finally, after roughly five hours of draft coverage, the Pacers actually used their 50th pick to select Georges Niang. While I was wondering why they didn't snag Ben Bentil who was still available, those questions were answered from several draft sources who all seemed to love Niang's basketball game despite his lack of athleticism.
