The early tip time on Saturday in Dallas appeared to be a good thing for the Pacers, especially after they left Big D with a Big W. But in hindsight, maybe arriving early in Atlanta, with nightlife options notorious for wearing down visiting NBA teams, wasn't such a good thing.
Atlanta, back-to-back on the road, backcourt injury issues, whatever the circumstance you want to point toward, the Pacers were simply flattened by the Hawks. A 30-4 run? Flattened.
So bad, there isn't much sense in trying to figure out what went wrong since the answer is obvious: everything.
