Pacers Injury Update: Paul George doubtful to play Bucks on Wednesday

Related Topics: Paul George, Milwaukee Bucks

The Pacers hoped to put their full team on display for fans in Evansville on Wednesday when they host the Milwaukee Bucks, but it appears their biggest star won’t be ready to join the fray.

Paul George rested in Chicago on Saturday and then came down with a sore throat and accompanying illness which now has him listed as doubtful to play in Evansville. Obviously, this is a mild issue for PG which will actually give his body some extra rest, if you are hunting for simple positives to the situation.

The negative is that this team can use as many reps as possible together and since PG and Myles Turner haven’t played together and Nate McMillan is expressing concerns about his defense, having all hands on deck would help work through those issues.
