INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Pacers Youth Basketball Program will once again bring its very popular, week-long “Pacers Summer Hoops Tour” to five Central Indiana locations for a week in July. The clinic, presented by McDonald’s® and Gatorade, is free to children but is limited to the first 125 registered participants at each site.
The “Pacers Summer Hoops Tour,” slated to run the week of July 13-17, will provide opportunities for boys and girls, ages 8 to 14, to participate and learn basketball concepts. The clinics will be conducted by Pacers ABA legend Darnell “Dr. Dunk” Hillman and local instructors who will focus on helping youths improve their skills and develop their overall games by teaching basic practice drills and emphasizing fundamentals.
