Rodney Stuckey bailed out the Indiana Pacers from another epic collapse, scoring all nine of their fourth quarter points to help the Pacers hold on for their first victory of the season. The Pacers played very well through the first three quarters, building up a 20-point lead late in the third. Stuckey led the Pacers with 23 points, scoring Indiana's final 15 points of the game, dating back to the third.
The Pacers used a 22-0 nothing run in the second quarter to take the lead for good from Detroit, getting 16 points from Paul George and 12 points, six rebounds, six assists, and four steals from George Hill.
