The Indiana Pacers staged an impressive comeback victory against the Portland Trail Blazers to get back in the win column. The Pacers trailed by as many as 20 in the first half, but stormed back in the fourth quarter behind a huge close to Paul George, who scored 15 straight points against Portland’s 13 as a team.
George finished with 37 points in the shootout, out-dueling both C.J. McCollum and Damian Lillard for the win. While George put the team on his back for the win, the Pacers were aided heavily by Thaddeus Young, who scored 24 points including a career best six three pointers on the night.
