The Indiana Pacers fought harder than they’d fought in some time, but couldn’t come up with the necessary stops, falling just short of the Cleveland Cavaliers in double overtime, 135-130.
Paul George scored a season high 43 points with nine rebounds and nine assists, scoring 19 points in the overtime periods, but Cleveland was there to respond to every monstrous George shot in double overtime.
George hit five three pointers, as did C.J. Miles, who scored 27 points. Thaddeus Young had 19 and Jeff Teague had a 17 point, 11 assist double double.
